Twenty-one Year History
1988 - 2008
In 1988, Lake Murray Baptist Church presented its first outdoor Christmas Drama as a gift to the community with a roadside nativity scene. As people drove along Hwy 378, only a handful of people stopped by to see a makeshift stable with fake cardboard sheep fashioned with cotton balls and a plywood donkey on wheels. some women even served as Wise Men with fake beards since there weren't enough men.

God saw fit to bless the drama with a home. A home which was named and dedicated to His one and only son, Jesus. The home contains over 28,000 square feet and seats over 2,700. The home was dedicated debt free to the glory of God on Nov. 25, 2001, for the expansion of the gospel for the Kingdom of God until Christ returns. 2008 was the Eighth year presenting the drama in the Home for "This Man Called Jesus."
